Culinary Experiences and Cooking Classes in Rome

Perfect cooking experience! This was our very first cooking class and we absolutely loved it. Marco and his team were professional, funny, welcoming, and incredibly informative. They made the whole experience engaging and enjoyable from start to finish. We wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone interested in cooking classes—you won’t be disappointed!

We attended the In Rome Cooking Class with our two best friends and were transported into an Italian kitchen to learn how to prepare the famous Rome style pizza and true Italian gelato through our amazing and very talented Chef, Marco Passaro. This young, very talented and experienced teacher was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and entertaining. The four of us learned proper techniques and knowledge of all ingredients used in the preparation of our meal. Passaro and his team proved to be exemplary in the delivery of knowledge and technique and we would definitely return to Passaro for additional classes. We had the most wonderful tour tonight with Tiziana! She took us all around the Trastevere area, telling us about the history of the area and the food specialities. She taught us how to know if a pizza shop is authentic or for tourists, what the Roman special pasta dishes are, and answered all of our questions about the Italian food culture and way of life. All while stopping at wonderful authentic restaurants to eat delicious food! She took time to get to know us and took such a personal interest in all of us. You can tell she loves her city, and she loves authentic Italian food and experiences. She was a wonderful tour guide, taking us to places we never would have found on our own, and letting us try so many different foods and flavors. When the night was over we felt we had just spent an evening with a friend in Rome. Thank you Tiziana!
