Culinary Experiences and Cooking Classes in Rome

We had the most wonderful tour tonight with Tiziana! She took us all around the Trastevere area, telling us about the history of the area and the food specialities. She taught us how to know if a pizza shop is authentic or for tourists, what the Roman special pasta dishes are, and answered all of our questions about the Italian food culture and way of life. All while stopping at wonderful authentic restaurants to eat delicious food! She took time to get to know us and took such a personal interest in all of us. You can tell she loves her city, and she loves authentic Italian food and experiences. She was a wonderful tour guide, taking us to places we never would have found on our own, and letting us try so many different foods and flavors. When the night was over we felt we had just spent an evening with a friend in Rome. Thank you Tiziana!

We celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary taking part in this wonderful cooking class experience! Our chef, Marco, met us in Campo de’ Fiori market where we bought the fresh ingredients to make our most delicious lunch! We made gelato, eggplant Parmesan, fresh spaghetti with carbonara sauce and chicken cacciatore! One of the best meals we have had so far and Marco was a wonderful chef to spend our anniversary with!

This was the highlight of my rome trip. Chicco was amazing and funny. He kept us entertained and he threw in a bunch of "fun facts" throughout the class. He didn't rush us and was so helpful! The whole experience was great! Highly recommend! I would do it again when I come back to Rome next time.

Giulio was absolutely fantastic! I cannot recommend enough! We started at the market to get our fresh ingredients. Then went to the school to cook! The food was amazing and learning to cook authentic Roman food was invaluable. Giulio’s teaching and sense of humor, made it unforgettable! 10 out of 10!

Absolutely the best experience I had in Italy. Enough said. Marco was an amazing instructor. I will forever remember him and what he taught me.
