Culinary Experiences and Cooking Classes in Rome

We had the best time at in Rome cooking class! David was so helpful, kind, and patient. We have 3 young kids and he was able to keep their attention and focused on the task at hand. We highly recommend this experience. It was fabulous for parents and kids. We learned a lot and enjoyed eating our culinary masterpieces. Grazie!

We attended the In Rome Cooking Class with our two best friends and were transported into an Italian kitchen to learn how to prepare the famous Rome style pizza and true Italian gelato through our amazing and very talented Chef, Marco Passaro. This young, very talented and experienced teacher was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and entertaining. The four of us learned proper techniques and knowledge of all ingredients used in the preparation of our meal. Passaro and his team proved to be exemplary in the delivery of knowledge and technique and we would definitely return to Passaro for additional classes. For us, this was an exceptional experience and look forward to our next visit to Rome and to the In Rome Cooking Class. Grazie Mille to Chef Passaro and team.

Giulio was absolutely fantastic! I cannot recommend enough! We started at the market to get our fresh ingredients. Then went to the school to cook! The food was amazing and learning to cook authentic Roman food was invaluable. Giulio’s teaching and sense of humor, made it unforgettable! 10 out of 10!

From the very start, she made us feel like old friends as we walked through a local market together, handpicking the freshest ingredients—from vibrant produce to figs that tasted like candy. Back in the kitchen, she guided us with warmth, skill, and passion. Together we prepared a true Roman feast: handmade pasta stuffed with ricotta and mascarpone in a rich red sauce, perfectly seasoned meatballs (a highlight for my wife, Sandy), saltimbocca alla Romana (a personal favorite), a fresh salad topped with figs, and to finish, a decadent tiramisu. Every step was hands-on, and she balanced teaching us techniques with making the whole experience feel fun and relaxed. The food was absolutely delicious, but what really made the day special was Christiana herself—her knowledge, her patience, her humor, and the way she shared the heart of Roman cooking with us. This was so much more than a class; it was a memory we’ll carry with us forever. If you want an authentic, joyful, and delicious Roman cooking adventure, Christiana is the one to book. The cooking class was amazing and I am so happy I was able to share in this experience with my aunt. We were greeted right at the door by Alexandro and he was exceptional the entire time. He was patient and very knowledgable about cooking and our options to complete the same cooking skills at home (USA). Our pizza and gelato came out amazing for our 1st. I would high recommend this cooking class. I look forward to coming back and trying their pasta options.
