The Pope's Farm

A new extraordinary experience

The full day trip includes a visit to the Papal Palace, apartments and the elegant Barberini gardens, home to the ancient ruins of the emperor Domitian’s summer palace including the amphiteatre and museum showcasing the excavated statues.
This is a completely new and worthwhile way to experience the Vatican Museums, decongesting guests away from the centre of Rome and inviting them to the Roman countryside.

A wonderful Roman experience

We (group of 4 people including grandparents and teenager) took a pasta class with 3 sauces. It was very interesting but also a lot of fun. A very relaxed atmosphere and a wonderful teacher/chef in Giulio. The class is the first part and at the end we sat down and ate our plates - much more food than we needed, of course. Simply wonderful!

We made the best tiramisu ever!

I got to experience firsthand how to make my favourite Roman sauces: cacio Pepe, carbonara, amatriciana and an extra aglio olio. We also made the pastas: spaghetti, fettuccini and strozzopreti 😳. Giulio our chef was knowledgeable, passionate and entertaining. The kitchen was excellent. It was great. I’m going back next time for pizza. Oh. I almost forgot. We made the best tiramisu ever!

A 5-Star Experience with Marco! If you're looking for an unforgettable cooking class, look no further than Marco's! From the moment the class began, his professional attitude and generous nature shone through. He created a warm and welcoming environment, patiently guiding us through each step of the process and offering helpful tips along the way. Marco's true passion for cooking is contagious, and he was incredibly generous with his knowledge, sharing valuable insights and techniques that went far beyond what we expected. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident in the kitchen, and the result was not only a delicious meal but a truly enriching experience. I highly recommend Marco's cooking class to anyone, regardless of skill level. It's a fantastic way to learn new recipes, have fun, and enjoy a wonderful culinary journey. Marco deserves all the five stars and more!

Would come back to do more cooking here!

The chef instructor was very kind and patient to show us all of the techniques. The kitchen was spotless and equipped with large cooking counter. We arrived and they prepared a welcome snack with bruschetta add eggplant which was delicious we were offered wine drinks. The olive oil was delicious. The gelato and pizza that we made was very delicious. We were able to enjoy what we made and the host made us feel so welcomed.

One to remember

We took this tour the day we landed in Rome. We have taken precious food tours and wanted to do the same in Rome. Tiziana was our tour guide for the evening stroll. She was excellent combining local history, recommendations for local cuisine, and customs locals partake in. We started out with apertivos and drinks. Next we headed to taste some local pizza. Afterwards, we headed to dinner at a local restaurant and tried two different pasta dishes with wine. Excellent flavor and freshness of the ingredients. We then walked to a local spot to try some cheeses and wine with more history. We had a short walk to taste deep fried breaded Italian noodles and then suppli. Both were excellent but we were already very full. Lastly, we ended the tour with go course, gelato. The gelato was excellent cause of the the freshness of the ingredients. Thank you to Tiziana for her fun attitude and wealth of information making our tour one to remember.
