A private cooking class where you will learn to make a classic Italian meal.

From the first pastry in the morning at the local pasticceria, to the final twirl of spaghetti pomodoro for dinner, food is a huge part of Italian life. Italians have refined the art of pleasurable eating. If you love Italian food, learn to cook like an Italian! An InRome Cooking class is fun and engaging way to learn how to make Italian dishes so delecatable, they’ll make you say, “Mamma mia!”

Guests are always welcomed with drinks and antipasti!

Our English-speaking chef will cook with you some classic Italian dishes. If you would like, the class can start in the style of any true Roman’s day: with a trip to the market to select fresh ingredients. The seasonal produce will help determine your menu: think an auburn squash Risotto in the autumn or generously stuffed tomatoes in the summer.

Back at InRome Cooking, the chef will accompany you to make a classic Italian dinner with a primo (pasta dish), secondo (main course), contorno (side dish) and delectable dolce (sweet course). If there is something in particular you would like to cook, you are welcome to specify with the chef beforehand.
After a busy morning or afternoon of cooking, the class comes together to enjoy the feast you’ve prepare with a glass of wine in-hand.

Great family activity! Our family of three experienced the pizza and gelato making class with Alessandro! What a fun evening! Alessandro made it fun for us all (including our teen!) and we made gelato and pizza from scratch! Everything we made was delicious. A truly fun family experience!

A must do! We had an incredible cooking class last night with the very charming Marco. Marco taught us how to cook two classic pasta dishes and Tiramisu. Would highly recommend! 5*

A Fun Time Making Pizza and Gelato in the Heart of Rome We took the 2½ hour Pizza and Gelato Making Class with InRome Cooking, which began at 5:30 pm and was a block from Piazza Navona.

As the participants arrived, it began with a prosecco and snacks reception, followed by the cooking classes, and ended with a meal of the pizza and gelato we had made, with wine and soft drinks.

Our chef, Giulio, was friendly, knowledgeable, informative and had a great sense of humor. We learned a lot from him and had a lot of fun. The group size was 8 adults and a child, which fit comfortably around the large prep island in the kitchen where we prepared our pizzas (with many toppings available) and the gelato (a choice of 3 flavors). Everyone was very friendly, had a great time, and enjoyed the pizza and gelato that we had made.

I highly recommend this class.
