Ask any Italian what their favorite food is and they’ll always qualify their answer with ‘della nonna.’ Whether it’s handmade gnocchi, juicy polpette (meatballs) lavished in a rich tomato sauce or perfectly-sweet biscotti, dishes made just like grandma used to make hold a sacred place in the heart of Italian culinary culture.
You now have the opportunity to immerse yourself in this lovable Italian tradition of learning to cook from Rome’s favorite nonna/nonno! Spend three hours learning to make traditional Italian recipes under expert guidance. Read on to learn more!
Arriving at either our 17th-century palazzo next to Piazza Navona or our sleek, stylish school a stone’s throw away from the Pantheon, you’ll be greeted with a warm reception of prosecco and antipasti-style snacks. This drinks and snacks reception provides the perfect opportunity to meet our nonna/nonno, your chef, before making your way into the kitchen.
Perfect the art of making three Roman dishes Here’s where the fun starts. Following Nonna‘s expert guidance, you’ll dive into making and rolling out your own Italian gnocchi dough.
