Tour Description

Watch your children discover the joy of Italian cooking as they turn from curious beginners into confident little chefs in this fun and fully hands on cooking class designed just for kids. Guided by our friendly English speaking chefs, young cooks will learn how to prepare simple, delicious Italian dishes they can easily recreate at home.

A Warm Italian Welcome

As soon as the kids step into our beautiful Roman cooking school, they are greeted with a homemade Italian appetizer. This moment allows them to relax, meet their chef and get to know each other before heading into the kitchen. Once everyone feels at ease, they put on their InRome Cooking aprons and the adventure begins.

Hands on Pasta Making

Children will start by preparing one of Italy’s most loved pasta dishes, Fettuccine Alfredo, creamy, comforting and perfect for young chefs. Making fresh pasta is tactile, fun and surprisingly easy, ideal for little hands that love to knead, roll and shape dough with pride.

Our chefs guide each step with patience and enthusiasm, making sure every child feels involved and successful.

Choose the Main Course

For the main dish, kids can choose between two Italian classics loved by children and adults alike:

  • Cotoletta alla Milanese, a crispy breaded cutlet that introduces kids to traditional Italian flavors in a fun and engaging way. The chefs carefully supervise the process and handle the cooking steps that require extra care.
  • Meatballs, soft, tasty and full of flavor. Kids love mixing the ingredients, shaping the meatballs and learning how to prepare a delicious tomato sauce to go with them.

A Sweet Italian Ending

No Italian meal is complete without dessert. To finish, children will prepare a sweet treat of their choice, a homemade Nutella cake or refreshing Italian gelato. This is often their favorite part of the class and any leftovers can be happily taken home.

Sit Down and Enjoy the Feast

After cooking, the kids gather around the table to enjoy the meal they prepared together. Lunch or dinner is served with water and soft drinks, and plenty of smiles. It is a joyful moment where children celebrate their work, build confidence and feel proud of what they have created.
