The Pope's Farm

A new extraordinary experience

The full day trip includes a visit to the Papal Palace, apartments and the elegant Barberini gardens, home to the ancient ruins of the emperor Domitian’s summer palace including the amphiteatre and museum showcasing the excavated statues.
This is a completely new and worthwhile way to experience the Vatican Museums, decongesting guests away from the centre of Rome and inviting them to the Roman countryside.

It was great. I’m going back next time for pizza.

I got to experience firsthand how to make my favourite Roman sauces: cacio Pepe, carbonara, amatriciana and an extra aglio olio. We also made the pastas: spaghetti, fettuccini and strozzopreti 😳. Giulio our chef was knowledgeable, passionate and entertaining. The kitchen was excellent. It was great. I’m going back next time for pizza. Oh. I almost forgot. We made the best tiramisu ever!

This cooking class was amazing!

This cooking class was amazing. The staff was super nice and helpful. The students and parents had an awesome time making fettuccine and tiramisu. I would highly recommend this place.

Unforgettable Experience

“I can’t recommend Maurizio enough as a personal tour guide! He took us on a food walking tour that was so much more than just eating. Along the way, he shared fascinating stories about the buildings, historical landmarks, and local neighborhoods. At each stop, we got to savor amazing appetizers and traditional dishes from five different restaurants and finished with dessert. His passion and knowledge made the whole experience unforgettable. Don’t miss it!”

Amazing authentic experience

What a fantastic class! We did the shared Pizza & Gelato lesson. This was one of our favorite things we did in Italy! We did it with our children (4 and 7 years of age). We also ended up paired with another lovely family with children of the same age. It was such a fun evening! The instructor was great, he encouraged the kids to do everything on their own. There was so much fun and laughter. Everything was perfectly organized. The food turned out to be fantastic. We can't wait to recreate the recipes now that we're back home! We did this on our last night in Rome and it was a perfect ending to our trip.

We booked this tour through our hotel. It was the highlight of our trip. Nonna and nonne taught us how to make almond biscotti, gnocchi, meatballs and red sauce. There was a pizza making class available as well. The chefs were excellent. I learned new techniques. The location was gorgeous. Best of all we got to eat what we made. I highly recommend this for groups, families and people of all ages!!
