Who We Are

The story of InRome Cooking is one of family, passion, and the simple beauty of sharing a meal. It all began with Gilda and Lorenzo Barberi, whose love for cooking filled their Roman restaurant with the aromas of home — slow-cooked lamb, handmade ravioli, and laughter around the table. Their children, Marilena and Salvatore, grew up in that kitchen and transformed their parents’ legacy into something timeless: a place where travelers can live the true Italian spirit through food. Today, inside beautifully restored historic venues near Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, guests from all over the world gather to roll pasta, pour wine, and celebrate life the Italian way. Whether in an intimate private class or a lively group experience, every moment at InRome Cooking is a blend of authenticity, warmth, and refined hospitality — where the flavors of Rome become unforgettable memories to take home.
