Cooking with Nonna: Gnocchi, Meatballs and Panna Cotta

Ask any Italian what their favorite food is and they’ll always qualify their answer with “della nonna” (my grandmother’s). This unique experience let’s you savor the chance to cook traditional Italian recipes with a real Italian nonna.

The three recipes for this class are of gnocchi, meatlballs and creamy panna cotta. At the end of this course, you’ll have the chance to dine on what you’ve made with a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.

Arrive at the school for an antipasti and prosecco reception

Upon arriving at our cooking school, your chef will greet you for a reception of prosecco, soft drinks and homemade snacks. Then we’ll get down to the fun part! Under the friendly, experienced guidance of nonna, you and the others will get to work crafting the gnocchi dough, rolling it out, assembling your meatballs and creating your delicate panna cotta.

Follow your cooking class with an indulgent dinner

Of course, cooking these delicious dishes is only half the fun! At the end of the class, you and your fellow veterans of the kitchen will get the chance to dine on what you’ve made in our stunning dining room. We’ll lay out a selection of fine local wines, beers and soft drinks to accompany your three-course meals while you exhange stories and conversation with the other guests.

    Buon appetito!

Phantastic guide helps to discover ancient Rome Once you are in this arena, you can imagine how 70.000 people must have been amazed.
This is fully "transported" by Salvatore from Walks Inside Rome. Great. Simply Great.

The location of the class is in a beautiful old building and the equipment and work surfaces are great for teaching people to cook things. The main chef and the assistants were so welcoming and explained everything well. I've been wanting to learn how to prepare and cook artichokes for ages and we got to do that in our class, which was great. You make a variety of different dishes, so learn different techniques and get an understanding of how Italians make traditional dishes. Everything you make, you get to eat and it was all delicious! read less

I was hoping that I hope get the ingredients & cooking method of the Pizza and Gelato please!.

Thought it would be something fun to do during self isolation in England

    Kind regards,
