Become the champion of dinner parties through this tailor-made cooking class! Whatever you want to master - whether it's hand-made Roman-stlye pasta, thin crunchy pizza, or a full four-course meal any Italian would be proud of, this is your chance to perfect your recipes.
Over the course of the class, which can last anywhere from a couple of hours to half a day, your English-speaking chef will teach you a whole host of techniques the Italians use to infuse their food. At the end of this fully customizable private experience, you'll have the time to linger over a long lunch or dinner of the food you've made in class. Washed down, naturally, with a selection of fine wines, beers, and soft drinks.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do: start your day by stepping into a local's shoes as you tour a farmers' market. If you want, we can meet at Campo de' Fiori, just a few minutes from the school, to select your seasonal produce. What we find can determine your menu: think an auburn squash Risotto in the autumn or generously stuffed tomatoes in the summer.
Or we can start directly at the InRome Cooking school, a resplendent 17th-century palazzo, where you'll be warmly welcomed with a prosecco and antipasti reception. Then onto the main event: the chef will walk you through making a classic Italian dinner with a primo (pasta dish), a secondo (main course), a contorno (side dish) and a delectable dolce, (sweet course). If there is something in particular you would like to cook, you are welcome to specify with the chef beforehand.
What better way to round off this memorable experience than by indulging on your culinary creations in style! Our school stocks a wide selection of local wines, Italian beers and soft drinks - the perfect pairing for your delicious dishes.
Remember that this class is totally tailor-made, so even if there's a special ocassion like Thanksgiving or Christmas, let us know and we can come up with a seasonal theme. See you soon: a presto!
